Keeping the Mission Alive

The rich tradition of the Sisters of St. Joseph is not a thing of the past; it is on-going ministry that will serve God's people on Long Island and beyond. The level of poverty and violence in
our society, the needs of new immigrant people, advocating for women and their children and many other issues point to an increasing need for our mission.

Today over 5000 benefactors are partners in the ministries of the Sisters of St. Joseph keeping the mission alive through their prayers and financial support.  We welcome you to join us in this mission in any of the following ways:

The Tree of Life

The Tree of life displayed on the wall in the front hall of St. Joseph's Convent in Brentwood is an expression of the love and support of our benefactors.  An engraved leaf on the tree may be donated in memory of a loved one or a special occasion.  The donation for a leaf is $1000.

The Grove of Remembrance

A tree may be planted on the grounds of our Motherhouse in Brentwood in memory or in honor of someone.   The donation is $400.

Circle of Friends

The Circle of Friends gracing the wall in the front hall of  Saint Joseph Renewal Center, Brentwood is an expression of the love and support of our benefactors.
An engraved gold circle with a cross in it in memory of a loved one or commemorating a joyous occasion can be obtained for an offering of $2000.  This is called the inner circle.
An engraved gold circle surrounding the inner circle can be obtained for an offering of $1000.To obtain a form to indicate your inscription
